Hi all, I've been twice in Istanbul, but not for long. The next October in particular from 4 to 12 we go there. We will stay in a fairly military by owner central hotel called Kupeli. Can anyone tell me anything other than what is already known to see, as if considering the possibility of doing some interesting one-day excursion. Just as eating places, dining, etc.

Hello, although it may be a fair bit of time for a day, I recommend visiting Bursa. It is a small but very picturesque. You can hire a tour of about 60 , which is the most comfortable or do it on your own boat from Yenikapı to Mudanya, there bus and then metro to the center. If you look on the internet with time and it is feasible programs.
Thanks Bosforus, so I watched, I think you live in Istanbul. You think it's easy for us to move with public transport or going to be difficult, especially about the difficulties our idiomticas More or less this centric hotel near Sultanhammet, the hotel called Hotel Kupeli, and this Eminsinan military by owner mah. Gedikpasa Hamam Cad 4. I think this pretty central, but the comments were good respcto Tryp price thereof. More or less guides and we know what we want to visit, anyway would be nice if your with your kindness, we recomencaras some sites and restaurants, cafetereias, etec glasses. and the ability to move with public transport or taxis.
Hello and welcome, actually live in the city. Being in that hotel may dispense tram (which is the best means of transport traffic issues in the city), nearly 90% since the major tours have a stone's throw. As for the language, do not worry as much Spanish is spoken, and if a little inlglés chapurreas not have the slightest problem. As taxis are cheap but require you to use the meter and avoid them in high-traffic routes. military by owner If the visits are clear and have no more to enjoy the city, but not overwhelm with visiting many museums. It is almost essential to know Istanbul, devoting much time to wander through its streets, discover its wonderful places and enjoy tea in one of the makeshift tea houses military by owner there are in the city. It should be noted the contrasts of the city, the organized chaos of the streets and a long list of details that make it unique. Finally do not forget that not only Istanbul Sultanahmet and the bazaar, this is the monumental and tourist.
For meals, I say the same thing for tea: small makeshift places with tables and stools military by owner (yes, whenever you see that have movement and not empty). Look at the places where workers come and go. If you like good eats: Hamdi restaurant, Faros, military by owner Medusa, Mozaik, Sarnici, etc ...)
